After spending days and months for Academy, Competition, and Seminar, COMPFEST will finally reach its peak on 28-29 September 2019. Be excited, as COMPFEST Main Event will offer numerous reasons as to why you should come to Universitas Indonesia on this Saturday and Sunday.
Unlimited access to tech startups
As the biggest IT event held by students, COMPFEST also works as a platform that accommodates tech startups to showcase the innovation they have in implementing the technology. Visitors can visit each of the booth to finish a challenge or try various products offered by these startups while earning points. These points can be exchanged for diverse merchandise without a single limitation.
This concept is known as Playground. Firstly implemented at COMPFEST 7, COMPFEST Playground often invites dozens of big names in the startups industry, and this year, we have 60++ startup exhibitors coming in our way. COMPFEST Playground has its own automated system through barcode-scanning technology too!
Knowledge-sharing
We believe that knowledge can bring humans to go as far as possible, and COMPFEST wants visitors to get a tremendous amount of learning experience from qualified professionals through Seminar. This year’s COMPFEST Main Event serves four distinctive seminar topics to be raised, namely Talent Gap in Tech, How Far Indonesia From Being Cashless?, Boost Your Experience Limit through Mixed Reality, and How Great Startups Are Made: Let’s Start with Why. The speakers of each seminar vary in terms of number, and many come from a diverse background. The registration for Seminar has actually been completed since the beginning of September, but don’t you worry! COMPFEST provides On The Spot tickets for visitors who arrived earlier.
Talk show with guest stars and various special performances
Who said that technology can only be discussed with software engineers and tech researchers? In this year’s COMPFEST, we are bringing renowned musicians, actors, and top YouTubers such as Kunto Aji, Sal Priadi, Da Lopez Brothers, and Dimas Danang to the center stage of Main Event, with an in-depth exploration about How Digital Era Strengthens the Creative Industry. Expect some remarkable presence, as Kunto Aji, Sal Priadi, and many more performers (Femotrap, Amadera, and Binari) will entertain visitors without any hesitation.
